Ilya Dynov group feat Aron Talas on piano

Ilya Dynov, 26 july 1984, started his musical career in Moscow (Soviet Union) at the age of 6 by taking private lessons in piano. After moving to Belgium in 1992, he continued his musical study’s in the City Conservatory of Bruges, first taking piano lessons and starting education in drums and percussion. His teenage years he was playing in different bands in funk, pop and world music genre and simultaneously taking lessons in classical music. In 2006 he entered the Royal Conservatory of Antwerpen and gained his degree of Master in Percussion. Next to the lessons of classical percussion instruments he wanted to continue studying his passion for improvisation. Lessons with Bart Quartier, Hendrik Braeckman, Carlo Willems as well as many performances led him to gain a professional level in improvisation.
In summer 2009 he was invited a solist to play at the Internationales Jugend-Musikfestival’ in Rodachtal, Germany. He performed the Concerto for Marimba and Orchestra from E.Séjourné. This performance was followed by a next performance in 2010 on the same festival performing the Concerto for Vibraphone and Orchestra from S.Tasca.
As an orchestral player he gained experience in different local orchestra’s as well in Orchestra Phlarmonique de Liège. In summer 2011 he was invited by the ‘Conservatorio Crba’ in Beja, Portugal to give a solo concert in percussion as well give a workshop percussion. As an education he is also associated with the City of Anwerp Education for Music, Dance and Drama.
After his Master studies Ilya continues to gain experience as a live performer and session musician. He contributed to several theater projects in Antwerpen that led to performances in different theater halls and groups Zuiderpershuis, Permeke, Fameus, Elckerlyck, ect.
Currently he is a member of the international quartet ‘The Bracket Percussion Ensemble’. The group has performed in various cultural events and festivals, receiving warm applaud by presenting a varied music program from Chinese folk arrangements to Latino percussion music. Performances include the ‘Cultures of China, Festival of Springs’ in Bozar in Brussels in januari 2013 as well as the production of ‘The Puppet Carnival—The Butterfly Lovers’ in season 2013 spring
