Alessio Calore Quartet

The Italian double bassist and composer Alessio Calore first studied electric bass at the conservatory of Rome and then moved to The Hague and Amsterdam to study double bass here. He plays all over Europe with bands such as The Wooden Jazz Trio, NJA Trio, Eric Ineke's Royal Hardbop Society, and MB Big Band. He also performed with his own Alessio Calore Quartet in clubs and at festivals in Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium and Spain!
