Cisco Herzhaft feat. Tom Dewulf

The French blues guitarist-singer Cisco Herzhaft from Bordeaux plays blues, ragtime and boogie woogie and is a gifted slide and fingerpicking guitarist. After countless wanderings in, among others, Canada and the US, he eventually settled in Mouscron. In his younger years he went on tour with John Lee Hooker, who - next to men like Doc Watson, Big Bill Broonzy and Fred McDowell - is and remains one of his biggest inspirations. He always manages to captivate his audience with his original and personal version of 'ze blous', neatly divided over 10 excellent CDs in recent years.
Cisco Herzhaft is now also supervised by Tom De Wulf. The Ghent drummer has loads of experience and is at home in many styles. His sharp swinging rhythms give an extra dimension to Cisco's guitar playing and misty voice.
