Diallo - Vanbuel

Diallo -Vanbuel consists of the internationally renowned jazz pianist-composer Claude Diallo from Switzerland and the Belgian Martijn Vanbuel on double bass.
Martijn Vanbuel and Claude Diallo first met in Taipei, Taiwan in 2007 and they played together several times over the years.
The trio played for the first time in November 2021 in Sankt Gallen, Switzerland, at the invitation of Claude Diallo. The music ranges from traditional hard bop tunes to Diallo and Vanbuel's own compositions, and revolves around fun, interaction and freedom of form. A virtuoso live performance by internationally acclaimed jazz musicians awaits the listener at the peak of their abilities, with a nod to the trios of Bill Evans, Ahmad Jamal and Abdullah Ibrahim.
