Over the past decade, Guy Verlinde (GHENT/AARTRIJKE) has dominated the Belgian blues & roots scene. He toured Europe non-stop, recorded 15 albums in 14 years and played in many prestigious clubs (AB, De Roma, OLT, ...) and at international festivals (Blues Peer, Cognac Blues Passions, Moulin Blues,. ..) where he shared the bill with greats such as: BB King, John Fogerty, Tony Joe White, Santana, John Hiatt, Canned Heat, Jeff Beck ...
His live shows are of a high level and because of his songs infused with Blues, Roots & Americana, he is often compared to Doug MacLeod, Ian Siegal, Hans Theessink & Guy Davis with whom he has played several times in the past. Together with his recently deceased friend Tiny Legs Tim, he also stood at the cradle of the flourishing Ghent blues scene.

A Guy Verlinde concert is a musical journey, imbued with stories about love, hope, resurrection... that emphasizes the healing power of music. Guy is a born entertainer and born storyteller. He knows how to touch his audience with his stories & songs and always sends them home with a good dose of positivity.
During the duo concert he is assisted by Tom Eylenbosch (piano and banjo). At 24 years old, he is one of the youngest professional musicians and music teachers in Belgium. He is very talented, plays with various bands and is now a much sought-after session musician.
