Iguazu Quintet

Iguazú Quintet is a young Belgian ensemble consisting of versatile musicians and offers a modern vision of Tango Nuevo. Together they explore new territories through many original arrangements interrupted by improvisation, and through collaborations with many contemporary composers.
Iguazú Quintet was born in 2016 at the Royal Conservatory of Mons (Arts2) and has since developed as a professional project between classical music, tango and jazz, on Belgian stages and abroad.
After recording a first album dedicated to Astor Piazzolla, released in 2020, the group is now embarking on a younger and more modern path than ever, blurring the boundaries between musical genres and positioning itself as a "Chamber Jazz" formation.
