Nugara Trio is the new power jazz trio made up by three young musicians, winners of the scholarship as best students at the International Seminar of Nuoro Jazz, edition 2021.
The trio is the the result of the union between three people with different backgrounds bonded by the unstoppable desire of research and musical devotion. The same devotion that made them meet at the seminar of Nuoro Jazz.
The music of the trio combines modern sonorities melted with the more traditional soul of jazz and influences of rock and popular music.

Francesco Negri was born in 1995, he began studying the piano at a young age and graduated with honors in Jazz Piano at the Paganini Conservatory in Genoa with Maestro Andrea Pozza. He has experiences in various musical genres such as rock, electronic music and NeoSoul. In 2019 and 2021 he participates in the "Gezmataz Festival" and in the "International Jazz day" with "Carujazz". In 2019 he joined the "Bop Rebels", a jazz quintet with a solid hard bop founda<on that also performs songs specially composed by the pianist. In 2021 he performed three times at the PrimoCanale TV station. In 2022 he was a
finalist in the prestigious !Chicco Bebnardi” national prize
in the !groups” section and won the scholarship of the best
students at !Nuoro Jazz” studying with Maestro Dado Moroni
Viden Spassov, double bass player and electric bass player, he graduated with full marks at the conservatory of Aosta. He began studying classical double bass with E. Ferraris, perfecting himself with G. EQorre at the Chigiana school of Siena. In the jazz field he had the opportunity to play and study with prestigious names such as A. Faraò, R. GaQo, Paolino dalla Porta, Dario Deidda and still continues to study with Furio di Castri.
He has recorded records with jazz names such as Anais Drago, Andrea Manzoni, Giulia Damico with whom he has played in some of the major Italian jazz festivals, including Torino Jazz Festival, Fano Jazz Festival, Bollate Jazz festival, Lucca Jazz Festival, Aquila Jazz , Canal Street Festival, Bergamo Jazz Festival, Perinaldo Festival and has participated in tours around the world touching stages in China, India, Norway, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria.
Francesco Parsi - Born in 2001, a pupil of Claudio Sbrolli and
Stefano Bagnoli, he has been living in The Hague since 2020 where he attends the jazz drum course at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. Winner of the scholarship as best student at the Nuoro Jazz 2021 seminars and selected in the same year for the artistic residency at the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, he
collaborates with the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina and performs in Italy, Holland, Denmark and Finland in European formations made up of young jazz talents.
